BrainRush is a free trivia quiz game for a group of friends, a family or a class around one shared screen.
What BrainRush is
BrainRush is played like a TV quiz show. One person hosts: they read each question out, listen to the spoken answers and mark them right or wrong. Players or teams take turns picking a question from a board of categories and point values. Harder questions are worth more points, a correct answer adds them and a wrong one takes them away.
- Up to 6 players or 4 teams, each with their own colour, on one laptop, TV or projector.
- Questions in English and Arabic, many with a picture such as a flag or a famous place.
- Categories such as Geography, History, Science, Sports, Movies, Food & Drink, Flags, Landmarks, Egyptians, Gen Z, Technology and "Who Am I?".
- Helpers for every player or team: 3 choices, Swap and Skip. One hidden question on each board is worth double.
- Sudden Death Streak: a solo mode that keeps asking multiple-choice questions until the first wrong answer, with a top-10 leaderboard.
- Each device remembers the questions it has played, so new games pick questions you haven't seen.

Who makes it
BrainRush is a personal project by Ahmed Fahim. It is made for quiz nights with friends, family and classes, with questions in both English and Arabic, and anyone can play it for free.
How the questions are made
Every question is written for BrainRush, checked against several reputable sources and reviewed before it is added to the game. New questions are added regularly, so the board keeps changing. Some answers may still be wrong or out of date: if you spot one, please tell us and we will fix it.
Photos belong to their authors and are used under the licences shown in the caption under each photo.
Free to play
BrainRush is free, with no sign-up and nothing to install. To help cover the hosting, the website may show an ad on the Sudden Death Streak leaderboard, never while a question is being played. Our Privacy Policy explains what the game saves and how ads use cookies, and the Terms of Service cover the rules for using the site.
